About the Development

The redevelopment of the Constantia building marks an exciting new chapter for East Runton. Our vision is to transform this building into 8 beautifully designed flats that blend modern living with the charm of the surrounding area.

The development will consist of 6 two-bedroom flats and 2 one-bedroom flats. Each flat will feature high-quality finishes and contemporary layouts, providing comfortable and stylish homes for residents.

We are also introducing amenities to enhance the lifestyle of our residents, including a private gym located in the outbuilding, a secure car park, two electric vehicle charging points, and bike storage. This development has been thoughtfully planned to meet the growing demand for permanent residential housing in North Norfolk, offering a unique opportunity to live in this sought-after coastal village.

As we move forward with planning and construction, we are committed to preserving the character of the original building while creating homes that meet the needs of modern living. Keep an eye on our updates page for the latest news and progress on this exciting development!

History

East Runton is a picturesque village on the stunning North Norfolk coast, located between Cromer and Sheringham. Just a short walk from sandy beaches, the village offers an ideal blend of coastal and countryside living. Its roots trace back to the 11th century, when it was known as Rugutune in the Domesday Book, with a strong history of farming and fishing.

In the early 20th century, East Runton saw significant changes, as the construction of railways in the area shifted many residents from agricultural work to the railways. More recently, the Constantia building was a beloved Greek restaurant, run by the same family for 40 years, making it a central part of the community.

Now, with plans in place to redevelop the Constantia building into modern residential flats, the future of East Runton is as exciting as its past. With its rich history, vibrant community, and beautiful surroundings, it’s the perfect place to call home.

The Surrounding Area

The Constantia development is ideally located to enjoy the best of North Norfolk, with excellent schools, vibrant towns, and stunning beaches all within reach. The area’s coastline offers breathtaking beaches like Holkham, Wells-next-the-Sea, Sheringham, and Blakeney, perfect for relaxing strolls and family outings. Conveniently positioned just 0.7 miles from Cromer, 3.3 miles from Sheringham, and a short journey to Holt and Aylsham, the development also benefits from excellent transport links.
